Sum Exitus is the solo metal project of Keith Dixon, a multi-instrumentalist and self-trained mixing and mastering engineer from New York. Dixon embraces independent music's DIY ethos, managing every aspect of the process on his own, from songwriting to production to mastering to distribution and artwork. Sum Exitus's sound is shaped by a wide range of influences, from the fuzz-heavy guitars of The Black Angels to the sharper-edged work of bands like Tool and Electric Wizard. “In The Blend,” the band's debut album, is available now on all streaming services.

The Aftershocks is an independent record label run by Keith Dixon that offers both mixing and mastering services for independent musicians at reasonable prices.
